I bought this about a month ago and I totally love it. It definitely keeps my hair straight longer than my old one, and my hair is shinier and healthier than before. I have to admit, it was pretty expensive for a flat iron, but I think it was worth it. I share it with my sister, and she loves it too. So if you are deciding which flat iron to buy, this is the one!!

I read reviews on flat irons for hours before I decided on the sudu. I was not dissappointed. This flat iron really staightens great. I just got it and then took it with me on a cruise to the Caribbean where it was humid and my hair stayed straight the whole trip. I don't think I'll be using it every day now that I'm home because I have fine hair and I think my hair needs to take a break from the heat and I only kept the temperature at about 160 degrees. The flat iron is slim so it reaches the hair close to my head well. I have a short bob so its hard to even get a brush to hold the shorter hair on the back of my head.I would highly recommend the sedu iron, it is well worth the money!!! It has changed my life! No more bad hair days unless I'm to lazy to use it. It also straightens a lot faster than my last cheapo Conair one. I only takes one swipe to get it stick straight!

I bought the Sedu not having great expectations. I have thin wavy hair, that is usually completely horrible. I have tried nearly every shampoo that my stylist recommends, and I have similarly bought all manner of irons, blow dryers etc. Thinking that the 'next' thing would fix it. Well, the Sedu did it...The moment I received it today I went to work, and 5 minutes. I had super model gorgeous hair. I really can't believe it. And my hair actually feels heathier, looks shinier, and I swear I even have more body. I recommed this iron to anyone- if it can make MY hair look this good, then imagine what it can do for yours!

Can't live without it!!!

Seeing all of the positive reviews for the Sedu, I decided to try it out. I have naturally curly hair that I wear straight and living in Houston with very high humidity, I was forever fighting with my hair trying to keep the wave down. I couldn't go outside during the summer without my hair turning into an frizz ball. Drying my hair would take forever b/c I had to dry it in sections using a huge round brush. Using the Sedu, I can dry my hair without even using a brush and then straighten it with the Sedu. My hair will stay straight and frizz free until I decide to wash it. I brought it to my hairdresser to use on me and now he is going to order one! I would pay twice as much for this iron. I know now that I cannot live without it!

I purchsed a Sedu flat iron a couple of weeks ago. I have a massive amount of coarse, curly black hair. My teenage daughter has thick, wavy hair with a little less curl. I kept hearing wonderful things about Chi irons and yet many reviews I read said that theirs had broken easily. I seriously read as many reviews from several different websites regarding flat irons and ended up choosing the Sedu.

So, the second it arrived from UPS, I opened it and said to myself, "Yeah right, let's see if this is as impressive as everyone seems to think." I plugged it in and noticed it had heated up almost instantaneously. I took a 2 inch section of hair and ran through it with the iron and I WAS AMAZED. I wish I did have before and after pictures. Within 25 minutes I had done my whole head of hair. You would have to just trust that I have way more hair than the average person. . . and long too. That day my hair was as curly as ever. When you see the pictures these people post on this website. . . they are completely accurate. A two hour job took 25 minutes.

Another true story, when I went to work with my hair straight, everyone was also amazed. I am a nurse. I work with a lot of women. One nurse inparticular was laughing and completely skeptical of the power of this iron. I tried to describe to her how light it was, how smooth it went through the hair (no scratchy feeling, like hair breaking), and how incredibly fast it worked. She absolutely said she found it very hard to believe. She asked what it could possibly be made of that was any different than any other iron on the market. When I told her it was aerodynamic she about fell off her chair laughing at me so hard. I said, "C'mon, you have to imagine airplanes and rockets use different materials than let's say, a GMC truck." Again, she just cracked up. I said to her, I will bring the iron to work tomorrow and we will play beauty shop." The next day, I took the Sedu to work and we pulled out mirrors (I work in labor and delivery) and a fairly big group of nurses gathered to watch the transformation. One of the nurses looked at the clock so we could time it. Within five minutes, her entire head of hair was transformed. She has much less hair than me, but it is a little coarse with maybe even a little frizz. The Sedu changed her style from average middle-age looking hair, to trendy, soft and straight. You could not see the way the stylist had intended it to look until after we did her hair. Everyone loved it and were impressed by the iron. What's more, my friend had to admit I was right and she was wrong. She too thought it was pretty amazing.

Again, the iron is so light weight and user friendly. It feels so good going through your hair that you cannot imagine it causing breakage. It is efficient in a way that I cannot underscore. I highly recommend it and I know several of my friends took the name of the iron and Folica's name for purchases.
